Course Description:

CompTIA CDIA+ Certification is a testing program sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The CompTIA CDIA+ certification is the industry standard for validating document imaging and management skills. The CDIA+ certification is an internationally recognized credential, acknowledging competency and professionalism in the document management industry. Those holding CDIA+ certification possess critical knowledge of technologies used to plan, design and specify a document imaging/management system.

 
Prerequisites:

Three to six months document imaging sales or service experience.

 
Audience:

Anyone involved in the recommendation, design and implementation of document imaging systems. Many document imaging hardware and software manufacturers are requiring all of their sales and service personnel become CDIA+ certified.

About Our Expert:

Jesse Wilkins, has worked in the document industry for twelve years. His areas of expertise include electronic records management, email management, collaborative tools, document imaging, and needs analysis and requirements definition. He is recognized for his ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Jesse is active in records and information management industry associations, serving as Chair of the AIIM Master Accreditation Committee and on the TAWPI ICP Blue Ribbon Commission. He served as a Director of AIIM International from 2004 to 2005 and on the CompTIA CDIA+ Post-Cornerstone Committee from 2002-2005. He chaired the ARMA Glossary Task force and served on the ARMA Professional Competencies Task Force, the ARMA Email Management Task Force, the AIIM Document Management Committee, and the AIIM Terminology Committee. In 2007 he was elected to the ARMA International Board of Directors.

Jesse has developed and delivered technical training for the CompTIA CDIA+ program to more than 400 students since 2002. He is an accredited instructor for the AIIM Electronic Records Management and AIIM Enterprise Content Management Master Classes. Jesse has received the CompTIA CDIA+, AIIM MIT, AIIM LIT, AIIM ERM Master, AIIM ECM Master, Xplor EDP, and TAWPI ICP designations. In 2006 he received the AIIM Education Award.
