About Our Expert:

Brian James Bork, MCT, MCP+I, MCSE, LCI, LCP, LCA,
Linux+ Trainer, A+ Trainer -
After working in Technology-related occupations for nearly 11 years, I began training fellow employees and became a Technical Trainer. After three years of training on the Microsoft product line, I became exposed to the SAIR GNU/Linux certification in March of 2000. While I had been working (with limited exposure) with various distributions of Linux for over two years, I became immediately hooked on training these new Linux courses. I have trained many fellow trainers and students in SAIR courses in the year since I was exposed to it. Since becoming certified to teach my first SAIR course, I have taught boot camps at Linux World 2000, and 2001 in San Jose , New York , and San Francisco ; trainer "t-preps" in Pennsylvania and London , England , Singapore , and the Netherlands ; I have taught many local students as well. In addition to SAIR training, I also maintain my Microsoft training as well as CompTIA training. During my career I have worked for Newstar ( Madison , WI ), Technical Support Analyst; Wausau Financial Systems ( Wausau , WI ), Technical Support Specialist; NBC 26/UPN 32 ( De Pere , WI ), LAN/Web Administrator; NetMedia Consulting ( De Pere , WI ), Vice President of Information Systems. Most recently I have teamed up with Specialized Solutions to bring you The Linux+ Certification Training course.
